Advertising Sales Manager Needed.
We are a consumer based music publication, and until now we have been a regional publication based in East Anglia. It is now our intention to expand the publication nationally. As such we seek an enthusiastic, experienced sales manager to take the publication into this new stage of its life.
This will be a launch of an unknown publication on a national level, although the test marketing for the publication has gone incredibly well we are still unknown to the national advertisers we will be targeting.
The individual we seek should not be daunted by a challenge, capable of working with the editorial team to set out a product and sales model that will drive the business forwards, knows the music entertainment industry and will have had experience dealing with high level agencies. This is a totally bespoke sales role, none of our current advertisers will be coming with us on this national launch so there is no sales data base, you will need to be able to populate a database and secure deals on consecutive issues.
The publication will be a bi monthly product and this is an on going role, research into competitors has ensured that our Rate Card is competitive given our print run and quality of publication (an 80 page Tabloid Newspaper, staple bound, and trimmed) The publication will be distributed nationally via an established and trusted national distribution company.
We are looking for the right person who wants to achieve something great, as a next step from your already successful Advertising media role, or someone simply looking for that next challenge.
For the right person we are prepared to offer share options and directorship within the publication, this is a major role within an established regional music magazine.
