Hi,
it's an interview for a newspaper. The project needs to be completed by Thursday 2nd November at 12pm GMT. Please find the brief as follows:
To date 75% of our business from France has consisted of Luxury and Fashion advertisers. We have strong relationships with this sector and are well positioned to maintain and nurture these existing relationships.
France’s recent economic prosperity is the product of rising private sector investment and increased employment, resulting in an uptick in both business and consumer confidence. This increased positivity means we now have a huge opportunity to generate new business from sectors that remain largely untapped and this is what your role has been created to do.
Sectors to focus on are: banks and financial services, high profile universities, French Municipalities and Regions (for Contracts & Tenders advertisements) .
Using your knowledge of the Italian Market and the list of advertisers:
• Devise a business plan of how you would tackle the first 3 months
• Define what your 6 month objectives would be.
• Include all aspects of a SWOT analysis.
• Demonstrate your reasoning behind your plans
• Identify any tools and support you might need.
Important to consider:
At present 10% of our total revenue is made up of digital advertising and year on year print advertising is declining at a rate of around 14%. The French market has been slow at adopting digital advertising, but over the last 12 months digital conversations and ultimately requests for digital proposals have increased noticeably. Digital knowledge and the ability to confidently guide our clients around our digital portfolio is crucial. We need to be in a strong position to manage our clients spend migrating from print platforms to digital platforms.
(Don’t worry, I don’t expect you to be an expert on our digital portfolio)
The project needs to be completed by Thursday at 12pm GMT.
Skills: Business Analysis, Business Plans, Internet Marketing, Market Research, Marketing

You've left this a bit late Tiziana but
- I presume that you will be able to provide more background about the newspaper, it's readership, existing advertisers?
- how many words or pgs do you require to be written?
- I presume that this does not require specific Financials such as P&L completed? Sometimes a business plan contains this
- You mention Italy in the brief too - is this correct or a typo? -
Business plan in one day and your budget is 25 gbp?
