Description
Experience Level: Expert
It is a little difficult knowing exactly what expert type I am looking for from the list. I recently placed this very ad with copywriters & they focused on text, which is not what I am looking for. This is more of an advert. It has to grab the receiver instantly using AIDA unless you have a better idea.
We sell plastic cards and plastic keyfobs through a direct approach.
We have our own in house graphic designers but we need someone that can design awesome sales letters. hen I say letter I don't mean lots of text like a letter.
We spend thousands of pounds in telemarketers and postage. We ring up business owners (cold call) and introducing them to our products. If they like the sound of them we post out some samples with some special offers valid for a week. These offers are listed on the mailer I am looking for you to design & the samples are stuck to the mailer. Usually a card & a fob. Our goal is to get them to read and then call us immediately to place an order. AIDA
I am wanting 4 A5 mailers/leaflet. We have done a few of these in-house but none of them have worked as well as I would like hence why we are looking for an expert in sales letter writing. Ideally the 4 would have 2 slightly different versions as I have been advised to split test them to see which works best.
The main industries we target are (taxi companies, garage services, hair & beauty, Restaurant/take away & tradesman) So ideally would like the 3 mailers to have a slight twist relating to each industry. Would like them also supplied in an editable format for posting online too.
Stuck to mailer will be a sample keyfob, a third the size of a credit card and a plastic card the same size as a credit card. The keyfob only mailer requires 3 keyfob samples.
We don’t post out junk mail. What we do is speak to business owners over the telephone & if they like the sound of our cards / fobs & think they are something they would introduce to their business, we post out directly to them. Included with the samples are some special offers which are up for grabs for up to 50 business in each area in the UK, which are valid for a week.
The aim of the mailer (leaflet) is for receiver to call our free phone number to discuss the offers with a view to an order. At the end of the initial call it is left that if we do not hear from them within a week, we will call them to check they have received the samples / mailer. If there are any of the (50) allocations left for that area then we look to discuss them.
I have attached some samples. I must stress these did not work as well as we would like so if you can't produce a lot better then this project is not for you.
If you are interested in the project and believe you can make a very enticing mailer that will have our telephone ringing then please tell me what you would do differently to the samples attached.
With regards the diagram showing the card being passed on, this was designed by our designer but hasn't been used I would definitely want something like this on the referral marketing mailer as a picture paints a thousand words and it quickly shows the concept with little effort, which is what I am wanting to create for all the mailers. Any opportunity to do an image on any of the mailers is preferred than lots of text which won't get read..
With regards 3 x mailer instructions - I have given you a bit of an idea of layout but I'm not the expert.
When we design cards we give our clients 3 variations - slight change - colours , layout. Would appreciate the same. This job needs to be finished ideally by 21/6/20 that is final approval.
Please see this video which explains more about the mailer process: https://vimeo.com/427296563

I think the issue is that you're expecting to find someone who's a specialist in two distinct fields (copywriting and design), and pay them as if they're a specialist in neither.
You probably need to split this into two jobs (the copy and the design) and increase the budget.
