Experience Level: Entry
Assistant to the Head Professional at Bristol Real Tennis Club
Are you looking for a role in sports' marketing and coaching?
We have a new part-time vacancy for an individual interested in both the business and sporting sides of a small but thriving real tennis club. Although no previous knowledge of real tennis is required, some natural hand-eye co-ordination is desirable as it is hoped that the job holder will develop their ability at the game and grow the role to include some coaching. This role will appeal to someone who:
• can take a lead in marketing events and meetings at this unique Bristol location
• is creative and innovative in expanding the membership for individuals and businesses
• wants to learn a new racket game or improve their skills to assist our Head Professional in coaching players of both sexes and all ages from 11+
• is interested in gaining a professional coaching qualification
The successful candidate will have good social skills and business acumen. This role might appeal to a sports marketing graduate, a marketing professional with an interest in racket sports or cricket, or a sports man or woman who is looking for a new career challenge. This position has the potential to develop into a long term career for the right person.
Hours are flexible (up to three days per week, including some weekend working) and may vary on a weekly basis in accordance with the Head Professional’s programme. Basic pay is £90 per day with commission available on additional new business.
