Data to include: We’re looking for someone to find and download some data for us, send us the files and complete a summary document (template attached).

We’re looking for Workforce Management Data from government departments. This is data published monthly from each department detailing total workforce numbers and staff costs. You can find it here: https://www.data.gov.uk/data/search?q=workforce+management+data or on each department’s own webpage.

We already have data from the Dept of Education, the Home Office and the Dept for International Development, but we need data from:
Cabinet Office
Dept for Culture, Media & Sport
Dept of Energy and Climate Change
Dept for Transport
Dept of Health
Dept for Communities & Local Government
Dept for Business, Innovation & Skills
Dept for Work and Pensions
Dept for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs
Foreign & Commonwealth Office
HM Treasury
HM Revenue and Customs
Ministry of Justice
Ministry of Defence

As far as possible, bearing in mind that some departments publish more reliably than others, we need data from every month from 2012-2014, so 36 files in total for each department. We would prefer the data in csv files, but anything except pdf is fine.

Once you have the data, please can you update the attached spreadsheet with your results?
Then please send all of the files and the completed spreadsheet back to us.

We need this done by COP Wednesday, so please let me know if you can do this as soon as possible. We’re willing to pay £10 an hour, so please estimate how long you think this will take if you decide to make a proposition.
