I need someone to search the internet and journal articles sources, (you probably have access to academic research portals or university libraries) for employee Engagement survey reports from UK companies, quasi-public corporations and regulatory bodies. In addition if you can find a source of data against which we can benchmark employee engagement survey results, that would be great too.
The background is this. We run Employee engagement surveys for clients and quite often they want their results benchmarked against comparable companies or against their whole sector. One possible source is the UK Civil Service who publish their results each year for each department. https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/civil-service-people-surveys#departmental-results-for-2019 . Other public organisations also post their results such as the General Medical Council https://www.gmc-uk.org/-/media/documents/report-on-outcomes-of-annual-staff-survey_pdf-84138091.pdf.
What we are looking for is a report that includes links to as many such reports as possible from the last 3 years as possible, for UK organisations only, that we can then search by sector and organisation size. i.e we would want them in a spreadsheet or searchable list. The reports you find do need to have enough detail for us to see what questions were asked and what their methodology was for analyzing the results. For instance if the report states an Employee Engagement Index (EEI), we would need to know how they calculated it. We can provide you with a list of search terms to get you started but we expect you to be able to expand your search as you learn more. Lastly we would want the list of reports to also have a brief summary provided. So the final report would state ...Name of organisation, name of report, year of publication, Sector, number of employees, url to report, one or two sentences of headline data like "EEI of 75%, an increase on last year".
