Sales calls

This opportunity entails outbound business development and sales efforts to expand an established commercial cleaning company's client portfolio. A successful candidate will be tasked with prospecting new accounts via cold calls and developing business relationships that should lead to new business. All necessary contact lists, sales collateral, and information about service offerings will be provided to the selected freelancer.

The ideal applicant will have at least one year of proven experience in an outside sales role, preferably within the facilities services or building maintenance industries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must to engage decision-makers over the phone, understand their organizational needs, and competently represent the benefits of the cleaning solutions on offer. Goal-setting, time management, and detailed record-keeping of call activity and progress will also be important responsibilities.
