Experience Level: Intermediate
The chosen telemarketer must be a native UK English speaker and their responsibilities will include the following:
1) Prepare and Deliver sales talks / scripts that describe products or services, in order to persuade potential customers to make a booking for our event. BOOKINGS are the target for this telemarketing drive. We need have a minimum of 40 seats per event and need all to be taken up on each event.
2) Contact businesses or private individuals by telephone from list provided by the company as well own research into market, in order to solicit bookings and attendance to our conference.
3) Explain products or services and prices, and answer questions from customers.
4) Obtain customer information such as name, address, event interested in, telephone number and reactions of prospects contacted. Will need to deliver a record of this at the end of each day to us.
6) Adjust sales scripts to better target the needs and interests of specific individuals.
7) Obtain names and telephone numbers of potential customers from sources such as online directories etc.
8) Answer telephone calls from potential customers who have been solicited through advertisements (if required).
9) Pass all information received of interest to our in-house sales team to follow up. Only after a firm interest has been established and they would like to make a booking etc.
10) Maintain records of contacts, accounts, and orders which will be passed to us.
11) Schedule appointments for sales representatives to call prospective customers or for customers for follow up. If required.
12) Conduct client or market surveys in order to obtain information about potential customers.
