Contact U3A branches

My organisation, Talk Shop (www.talkshopuk.org), working with another called Thinking Box, has funding from Nesta to get people talking about driverless cars. Talk Shop have a discussion kit that can be used by six people around the kitchen table or in larger events. Thinking Box sessions work like a book group except using videos, for 1 or 2.5 hour sessions. Between us,we're trying to involve 750 people in such discussions, by mid-October.

One of the organisations we're aiming to work with is the University of the Third Age (U4A). This has over 1,000 independent branches around the country - there's one in every town. We're interested in the ones that have current affairs discussion groups, or something similar. Some U3As have two or three, because the original one was full up so someone started another. Some are house groups, limited to eight or ten people. Others meet in village halls etc. and are for 40 people or so. They tend to meet monthly.

We have contacted around 40 U3A branches so far, with an encouraging response rate. We'd like some help in contacting more.

Contact with them is either by filling in a form on their website or by emailing a given contact, usually the organiser of the discussion group. We'll deal with the responses.

We're looking for someone who is:
* In the UK
* Thorough and good on detail. (E.g. have you spotted the deliberate typo above?)
* Available for around three days over the next two or three weeks
