Community Website - Business Directory and advertising section

RELISTING due to timewaster...

For a local community website, covering a small town in Ayrshire: to sell business directory entries by phone/mail and home page advertising - but for LOCAL businesses only. Entries cost £39-£119 VAT per annum (unlimited changes allowed) and advertising space is £22-£39 VAT per month (this has limited space for around 6 entries only to be displayed at any one time).
Current main competition is printed free paper, which contains around 100 advertisers per quarter, perhaps 150 different businesses per year, so there is good scope to catch many of these, plus other local businesses not advertising here.
I can supply a copy of the local free paper, and other contact numbers, plus offer full instruction by phone on what is available for sale.
For the directory (depending on the level taken) you will simply need to take business contact details, make suitable descriptive text, and accept any image files passed on. For any full page entries, I wouild need to visit the client to gather full requirements anyway.
