Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
Company overview:
Master Investor Ltd. is an investment media and events company that delivers independent, financial commentary and analysis to UK private investors and traders. We operate the annual Master Investor Show which introduces 5000+ private investor attendees to over 100 exhibiting companies they can invest into. Click the following link to watch a 3-minute highlights video about our 2017 event: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvp-c0uV26c&feature=youtu.be
The job:
We are looking to hire a pool of freelance writers with substantial marketing and events experience to put together a series of B2B content marketing blog articles (500 words each article) focussing on how exhibitors can maximise their corporate presence at investor events.
For the right candidate(s) this could turn into on-going regular work. There is much scope to expand our content marketing materials into electronic white papers, webinars and face-to-face events.
Initial topic overviews include (each component would require its own blog article – exact content and titles TBD and will be discussed further):
1. Making the most of your company’s presence at the event.
- What to do on your stand (dressing, branding, staffing)
- How to capture attention, provoke conversation and identify time-wasters
- Running freebies and competitions
- How to get the most out of agency staff
- Other ideas TBD
2. Capturing on-site leads and managing data.
- Lead capture mechanisms and getting the most out of technology
- Maximising and prioritizing data for post-event marketing activities
- The importance of data privacy and awareness of GDPR
3. Post-event: The follow up.
- “Linking in” with everyone you meet
- Getting data into the CRM
- Prioritising your leads
- Data privacy obligations.
4. Measuring ROI
- How to demonstrate the impact of your presence at events
Knowledge/experience needed:
- Substantial event management and marketing experience
- B2B sales/marketing/lead generation experience
- Blogging/copywriting, content marketing and writing for the web
- SEO
- Knowledge of the finance/investor sector useful but not essential
Note about fee:
We have budgeted £200 for a standard 500 word article. Pricing negotiable for longer blogs and other content marketing projects .
