SEO optimization and campaign for estate planning law practice

My wife has a solo practice estate planning law firm that is moderately successful. We have not tried to use the internet in a significant way to market her services. This is a low volume, high revenue type clientele and we want to make sure searches are local and with appropriate positive and negative key words. A small number of searches but a phone call that results from such typically closes and is lucrative. 6-month guaranteed commitment by seller. We are looking for an affordable solution in the short run but if the campaign is successful we will grow with our SEO vendor in terms of bonuses/rewards i.e. show results in terms of clients contacting the practice and signing on, and this will result in a long-term relationship to manage our account and other related marketing efforts such as AdWords.
