PR assistant (UK only)

Junior PR assistant or great virtual assistant with some PR/media experience required

Current task - to call my media target list of magazines to find their shopping page compilers and their Christmas gift guide contact for 2015. Also to gather a bit of background on current plans for this year's gift guides or shopping pages. Should be just a couple of hours or so research (spread over a week).

Essential:
Good, polite telephone manner
Not afraid to get on the phone and seek out best contacts
Good at collecting information and recording in an effective way

Desirable:
Some experience of PR, speaking to journalists, understanding media deadlines etc

This first task is for end of June/early July, with more to follow if the right candidate.

Please, no offers of spreadsheets of data or contact lists - unless you are a PR yourself and have a list of the right contacts for Christmas 2015 that you are willing to share. This isn't just about email collection!
