Description
Experience Level: Expert
I have a whole load of ebooks on Amazon. I am aware there is a lot of advice on how to market books on Amazon. BUT I am also aware that this takes time and I am very busy at the moment. So what I am after is a marketing campaign for my books on Amazon.
I was not happy with some of the proposals received so I spent this morning creating a blog:
http://marketingamazonbooks.blogspot.co.uk/
Here, in great detail, are many many ideas as to the marketing of books on Amazon.
The successful proposal will meet this:
http://marketingamazonbooks.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/checklist
and
http://marketingamazonbooks.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Marketing%20eBook
and
http://marketingamazonbooks.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/Marketing%20plan
It is clear to me that the book covers need to be redesigned; the books need to be checked for formatting etc; links to other books need to be inserted; a social media campaign too.
The proposal should also include the editing and marketing of four more books (ebooks) I am currently writing.
All the books already appear here: http://www.oxfordbooksonline.co.uk/products-page/
They are sold with 100% of the fees going to charity. If you wish to look at the books the section 'Freebies' will give you an idea - or you could buy one or two (and thus donate to charity!)
Or you can look for any of the books on Amazon and then click to find other books by the same author etc.
To do what I require will take a lot of work so accordingly I have increased the budget.
If a suitable proposal is placed I hope to make a decision within 10 days.
The successful proposal will be handed over to my web designer to supervise whilst I get on with running www.almostrandomtheatre.co.uk
If I was quoting I would go through the various posts and spend maybe an hour or two creating a marketing plan. I'd then look at the services I could provide and look at the ones I would sub-contract. I'd estimate the sub-contracting costs and my time (and rate) and then quote. However it could well be that people who see this job may have all the skills required which thus makes the quote easy.
On the other hand someone with excellent administration skills (and patience!) could probably do this and subcontract a lot of the work to others on this site (or others known to the Bidder, for example I often visit Poland to work so would not be surprised if the Bidder was Polish) ...but they'd have to be careful as they would be responsible for paying those supplying services....
Not that it's particularly related to this job, but, I live in Oxford and run www.almostrandomtheatre.co.uk
