Armed Forces & Veterans' Resettlement Expo Marketing

Baltic Publications Limited publishes Pathfinder International Magazine (see pathfinderinternational.co.uk) which is a magazine for people who are in the process leaving the UK Armed Forces and veterans.

We also organise Resettlement Expos which are events at which training companies, educational establishments and potential employers (for example) will attend to meet people who are in the process of leaving the UK Armed Forces and looking for training opportunities, educational courses and career opportunities.

We would like to employ the services of an exhibition marketing expert who can promote these Resettlement Expos to Service Leavers to maximise the number of attendees at the events who are seeking advice from the exhibitors.

Pathfinder International Magazine is distributed by the Ministry of Defence and provides our own media channels in the form of a printed magazine, digital magazine, website, digital newsletters and well-established social media channels across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin.

There is also a budget for paid-for advertising, both print and digital.

4-5 events are organised in each calendar year and the next event is to be held at Plymouth Argyle Football Club on Friday June 23rd, 2023 to coincide with the weekend of Armed Forces Day National Event to be held in Falmouth on June 24th.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in promoting events and have a sound understanding of how to mix Pathfinder International's established media channels with paid-for social media advertising and traditional, localised promotional activities.

A knowledge of military networks, while not essential, will be a distinct advantage.

The project budget is negotiable and the ability to exploit free promotion opportunities is likely to increase the revenue earned by the project manager.
