Description
Experience Level: Expert
Description:
We are developing a new line of performance medical scrubs under the brand TruEast, with a focus on modest wear designs. Our tech packs are complete, and we are now ready to begin fabric sourcing and prototype production.
We are looking for an experienced sourcing agent who can:
• Identify and negotiate with fabric suppliers (UK/EU preferred, open to Turkey/Pakistan/China for production).
• Source 65/35 polycotton blends, 160–180 GSM with performance finishes: antimicrobial, odour resistant, breathable, stain- and water-repellent, colourfast.
• Arrange swatches and lab dips in specified Pantone colours (Navy 2767 C, Royal Blue 286 C, Black 6 C, Green 3308 C).
• Shortlist and coordinate with garment manufacturers (specialised in medical/workwear).
• Oversee prototype production (2–3 sets, Medium sample size) for wear testing.
• Provide ongoing support for MOQ negotiations, quality control, and production scaling.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in fabric sourcing and garment production (medical/workwear preferred).
• Strong supplier network in UK/EU and/or Turkey/Asia/China
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to provide clear timelines and cost breakdowns.
Deliverables:
1. Supplier shortlist (fabrics + manufacturers).
2. Swatches/lab dips in required Pantone colours.
3. Prototypes produced and delivered in Medium size (2–3 sets).
4. Report on MOQs, pricing, and lead times.
Budget:
• Open to proposals (fixed price with milestone payments for supplier shortlist, swatch and prototype manufacturing payments made individually after delivery of each target)
How to Apply:
Please include:
• Examples of past sourcing projects (especially medical/workwear).
• Your supplier network (regions/countries).
• Expected timeline for initial fabric + prototype sourcing.
