Logo styles

I need you to design me a logo. Of course it is simple enough for me to do it but I would like you to be part of this project.
The project is called:
EchoBook.
It is a personal journal notebook.
Each page has a QR code on it. This enables the person to leave a voice message / note that can be played from the book once uploaded.
That is why I called it EchoBook.
I want the journal to be subtle, distinctive and stylish.
Perhaps the logo would be embossed on the cover rather than being in your face.
I would need a logo and an icon. Not sure how the icon would look. I though we might make use of those rays style we used to have on AnsaTag?
Can we agree £50 for this? Within a week? Hopefully - as I need to get moving on it!
