Arnavon is an urban farm that teaches integrated backyard agriculture skills. We raise rabbits, chickens, and fish. We grow herbs, fruits, vegetables, edible flowers, and microgreens using a variety of growing methods including Aquaponics and raised beds.

The colors we’ve tentatively chosen are dark green and magenta, but if you have a fantastic idea that doesn’t use those colors, we’re open to other ideas.

The word Arnavon means rabbit in Hebrew. Our inside the box thinking believes it might be nice if the logo incorporated a rabbit. However, we’re not bonded to a rabbit. If you do include a rabbit, please keep in mind that we raise Beveren rabbits and they only come in three solid colors, white, black, and blue (gray) so no spotted bunnies. If you include a rabbit, and you want to make it stylized, there is no need for it to conform to the above three colors.

The logo needs to print in color and in black and white and we’d like a vector file so that we can change the size as needed.

Basically what we want is to work with a designer who can create a logo that is memorable as well as being aesthetically pleasing. We will have more design work in the future creating marketing materials, and we’d like to use this contest as a way to see many people’s work and develop an ongoing relationship with a designer. Our next project will be a graphic to use in video productions.
