Location based video sharing iphone app and website.

The premise behind the website is a bit like instagram but with videos. We want users to be able to record videos (15 secs) and group/attach videos to a topic. Also when a user takes a video in a bar/venue we would like the video be associated with that place.

The project can be thought of as 3 phases:
1) Video sharing with unique friends system
2) Associating videos with topics
3) Associating videos with places/venues

We also have an android app but we only want changes to the iphone app.

Phase 2 would allow a user to write a topic such as 'red car' and would be able to attach videos to that topic. Or they could write a topic called 'rihanna' and could attach videos to that topic. I do not think this would be a huge amount of work as we already have all the video sharing functionality. You would just have to link it to a topic.

Phase 3 would associate a video with a venue. A user would be able to check in to a bar take a video and that video would be associated with that bar. For example they could type in the bar's name such as 'TGI Fridays' and they would be able to see all videos taken in TGI Fridays. I would like the foursquare API to be used to get the places and check in functionality.

The site is very much about 'real time'. So you can see what your friends are doing/where they are right now.

Also we would like a redesign of the UI of the iphone app. It will also contain alot of functionality that you can get on the site i.e. profile page, creation of topics and associating videos with that (Phase 2) and video check in functionality (Phase 3).

Design is really crucial to us. We want a great looking app that is really polished as well as a great looking site.

I would envisage the majority of the workload would be to the iphone app so it is cruicial who ever goes for this they have a record in iphone app creation.

We also have a preference to a UK based team but we are open to all. The best team really will get the job.
