Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are a long standing logistics software provider looking for a Java developer. A small but essential part of our solution is a Java program which is responsible for handling network connections to a Unix / Linux server and passing requests to the core application for processing. We do not have in-house Java skills so we are looking for a contractor who is willing to assist with reviewing and amending the request broker.
The successful applicant will be able to work at our offices in Tamworth, Staffordshire.
We anticipate the contract term being between 10 and 20 days total. The total time will be finalised following further discussions with the successful candidate.
A comprehensive knowledge of Java and Unix is essential.
A knowledge of multi-threading and TCP/IP Sockets is desirable.
We are looking to start interviews on Monday the 17th of September.
