IT Company Logo Design

We are looking for a logo redesign for our company. We've had our current logo for over 2 years but I don't like it.

We are quite a diverse information technology company offering several services including IT services, support, product sales, software and web development, and project management to name a few.

I would like the logo to have a simple, modern feel to it that makes you think technology. At the moment our corporate colours are red and white. I also like pastel colours especially blue's and gold, as well as light grey's, but I am open to suggestions. It must look good on a white background and suit placement on a business card, stationary, a van, on polo shirts and websites. It must stand out on sites like Amazon where there are already quite a few logos.

Could you please include some samples of examples of your work to match the interpretation of the style I am looking for, whether as a zip file or web address.
