Integrate woocommerce with Septimus Theme template

My website uses a theme - Septimus (http://themeforest.net/item/septimus-responsive-portfolio-wp-theme/full_screen_preview/4113915)

I would like to integrate woocommerce (http://www.woothemes.com/woocommerce/)

But it's not set up to support it. When I've installed the plugin it doesn't work because there is a conflict with the templates as described on the woocommerce support page (http://docs.woothemes.com/document/third-party-custom-theme-compatibility/).

What I need is a step by step series of changes to be made to my Septimus functions.php theme in order for the woocommerce shop to work.

To do this, you will need a fresh install of wp (i.e. instant-wp) , the Septimus theme (which will be provided) and the woocommerce plugin, which can be downloaded from within your wordpress install.

If you understand how to use hooks and build template pages in wordpress this is going to be super-easy!
