Improve my slow running website with GoDaddy.

My website run's awfully slowly. It can take up to a minute to load. This, speaking to GoDaddy, is nothing to do with the server, but the plug ins that my web designer used. The web designer was good but cannot work on this project due to a work overload.

I am looking for someone to login to my Joomla website login page, where the website is stored and improve the speed of the website to make it instantaneous like other websites are, without changing too much of the website as I love how it works and looks! As I say I believe it is something to do with the Plug Ins on the website.
