Fix my blog please.

I bought a template and am using the blog layout provided, however I want complete blog functionality such as comments and search.
I do have some code for that but cannot get it working.

Option 1: Use the provided template code and keep as is
Option 2: Migrate to a wordpress.org environment

Option 3: (for a higher price)
Migrate whole site to wordpress. (i'd like to do this using two milestones, 1 creation of the blog. If it is satisfactory then migrate the whole site)

Extra notes:
I want to have the same header and footer as my site, just the complete blog functionality.
