PanicGuard is urgently looking to hire a mobile product manager to help with our roll out of our app based security solution worldwide, and in particular to regions such as Latin America and Europe.
PanicGuard is a highly successful and rapidly expanding mobile start-up based in Clapham Common. We are the leaders in personal safety via smartphones and provide white labelled mobile platforms to security companies and this is where you would come in….

You would report to our CTO, and as mobile product manager you will be responsible for managing and coordinating resources and technical specifications to deliver mobile software integrations into our client’s technologies products, both off and onsite, while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines.
Some international travel should be expected to areas such as Latin America, Europe and Africa.
What we would like you to do:
• Demonstrate leadership abilities to our clients with the deployment of branded solutions, software upgrades, enhancements and fixes that are based on release schedules, as well as ensuring that they fully understand all aspects of our mobile platform.
• Assist developers resolve technical problems
• You will ideally have knowledge of HTML5 / CSS3 / PHP / MySQL / Amazon web services (please list ones you have worked with) / git, github / Linux / APC / Apache web server / nginx, Smarty template engine, CodeIgniter, WordPress
• Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated, team player, action and results oriented
• Ability to successfully work under tight project deadlines
• Internationally minded and ability to work across cultural barriers
