We are looking to develop a tracking solution for outdoor use in sports in a confined area of maximum 100m x 100m
The architecture we envisage will be a small tag worn by the athlete that transmits X,Y coordinates in real time to a local gateway. From a design perspective this could be accomplished with a high resolution GPS module and BLE (or anything else suggested by the successful applicant).
The athlete tag must process the GPS data in real time and transmit to a local gateway in real time. This will involve timestamping packets in addition to sending X,Y coordinates and an MCU will need to be incorporated in the design.
We are looking for the highest level of accuracy possible at 3Hz to 5Hz. We will develop the necessary Kalman filters ourselves for smooth interpretation of positional data for end users.
We are open to consider using any technology including UWB and RSSI as opposed to GPS if it's a workable solution in terms of distances and accuracy.
We would also be very happy to look at a GPS / RTK solution.
The price quoted is a simple placeholder and we are happy to discuss pricing based on technical solutions offered and speed of delivery.
