I require someone with an excellent knowledge of thermodynamics to use temperature data of given localities to determine appropriate insulation and heating/cooling requirements for breeding enclosures.
-Given that the r value of the insulation(high density expanded polystyrene (100mm @ k = 0.0350 W/mk)) is 2.86 m²K/W --Determine heat loss for a range of external temperatures.
-Determine heating or cooling requirements to maintain a range of internal temperatures.
-Use price/kWh to determine daily heating/cooling costs.
-Evaluate different insulation types and thicknesses to determine most feasible construction method.
The enclosures will be cuboids of varying dimensions
Must be able to represent data in a well formatted excel document
