We are seeking a senior and experienced qualified Electronics Engineer (Degree or HNC). You will be responsible for maintaining the company's unique high temperature Humidity data loggers, with repairs and calibration designing, modifying, application, servicing/repairing plus project managing new and existing electronic systems into production.
A thorough understanding of instrumentation systems and sensors is required including those used to measure temperature and humidity analogue and digital circuits. Knowledge of battery powered systems and power supplies will also be required, including data acquisition the position will also include some project managing opportunities.
You will have a degree or HNC in Electronics Engineering and have at least ten years’ experience in a similar role within a large manufacturing company.
The ideal Applicant will be flexible and adaptable to learning a variety of machines, instrumentation and computer systems plus software programs and will have had some of embedded PC’s.
A strong aptitude towards analogue circuits experience including instrumentation, temperature measuring systems, power supplies, battery circuits. Good IT skills including interfacing embedded PC and touch screen systems, as well as operating, testing and troubleshooting and fault-finding electronic, electrical, computer and some mechanical equipment is required.
