Experience Level: Expert
Looking for an experience mechanical design engineer to support with design of a prototype of an instrumentation system used in the subsea environment. This is a part of an ongoing development program and is expected to continue over multiple phases for different applications.
Design requirements:
• Water depth: Capable to working at water depth up to 3,000m
• Temperature range: system is expected to work with temperature up to 80 C
• Ability to survive hydrostatic loading over a period of 20 years
• In compliance with relevant industry standards
To be a best fit for this project you need:
• Experience of designing mechanical systems for instrumentation and electronics applications
• Experience of undersea development is not mandatory – need motivation to get up-to-speed quickly
• Ability to communicate clearly with multiple stakeholders
• Dedication to meet project deadlines in a timely manner
• Attention to detail
• Willingness to sign an NDA
