Tracking was set up in the past (GA4 + Google Tag Manager + Meta Pixel), but it needs an audit, update to current standards, and proper QA to confirm all conversions are firing correctly and not duplicating.
This is not a full build from scratch. Most tracking exists; I need it checked, fixed, and proven working.
Primary conversions to track (key events)
1. Lead form submission (main inquiry forms on the contact page and other pages)
2. “Schedule a callback” button click (link on contact page that goes to eastco.youcanbook.me)
3. WhatsApp click
4. Email click
5. Thank-you page view after form submit (if the form redirects; please confirm and track)
6. Key itinerary page views for retargeting audiences (30/90/180 day audiences)
Deliverables
A) Audit + fixes
• Audit GA4 property and data quality
• Audit GTM container for duplicates, old tags, wrong triggers
• Confirm events are not double-counting (especially clicks + enhanced measurement)
• Ensure internal traffic filtering is set correctly (I will give office IPs if needed)
B) Conversion setup (GA4 + Google Ads)
• Implement/repair conversion events in GTM/GA4
• Mark the correct GA4 key events
• Link GA4 ↔ Google Ads and ensure conversions are set correctly (primary vs secondary) so reporting and optimisation are consistent.
C) Meta Pixel QA
• Confirm pixel is firing site-wide
• Configure/repair key events for lead actions
• Verify in Meta Events Manager Test Events (no duplicates)
D) Proof + handover
• 1-page tracking map: event name, where it fires, trigger, and whether it’s a key event
• Proof of testing (any two formats are fine):
• screenshots of GTM Preview + GA4 DebugView
• screenshots of Meta Test Events
• short Loom walkthrough showing tests firing and where to verify them
Timeline
• Initial audit findings within 24 hours of access
• Full implementation + QA within 2–4 days (depending on complexity)
