Description
We are seeking consultation and optimisation services for our established gift ecommerce website. The site currently ranks highly for relevant keywords however we are struggling to fully leverage these rankings into increased traffic and sales conversions. A thorough review and analysis of our on-page SEO, content, and user experience would help identify areas for potential improvement.
Some suggested focus areas could include optimising key landing pages and top-level content to better entice and guide users, ensuring internal linking architecture supports an intuitive customer journey, evaluating competitiveness of meta descriptions and titles versus top organic results, and auditing site speed and load times. Backlink profile, from a variety of high authority sources across related niches, is a strong asset worth maintaining.
The goal of this project is to assess our existing online presence and digital marketing efforts, recognize shortcomings potentially hindering goal completions, and implement tailored optimization strategies. The successful candidate will have robust experience advising similarly positioned companies and a proven track record of boosting organic traffic and sales through strategic SEO enhancements. Proficiency with Google Search Console, Analytics and keyword research tools is preferred.
We welcome proposals outlining recommended technical and content approaches to help us maximize customer acquisition from our highly visible search rankings. We also need action to be taken following the advice stage so you must be able to actually do the job you suggest.

I'd prioritize optimizing page load speed, improving mobile UX, refining meta titles/descriptions for higher CTR, and enhancing internal linking. Success would be measured by uplift in organic traffic, CTR, bounce rate, and conversion rate via Google Analytics and Search Console.
2. How would you evaluate and optimize our user journey...?
I’d use heatmaps, session recordings, and funnel analysis to identify drop-offs. Then I’d streamline navigation, improve CTAs, reduce form friction, and test layout changes through A/B testing to boost conversions.
