Description
We are seeking a UK-based senior Technical SEO consultant for a focused 3-month engagement to support the structured growth of a national B2B digital platform operating in a regulated sector.
This is not a generic SEO job.
We are building 25–50 structured geo-intent landing pages over the next 6 weeks and require an experienced consultant to ensure:
• Correct site architecture
• Clean indexing
• Scalable URL strategy
• Proper internal linking
• Schema implementation
• Keyword opportunity mapping
• Avoidance of cannibalisation
• Core Web Vitals optimisation
We are looking for someone strategic and technical — not a backlink reseller.
Scope of Work (Phase 1 – Audit & Strategy)
Within the first 4 weeks, we require:

From a platform perspective, could you confirm the CMS or development framework the site is built on, and whether full access is available for server-level configurations such as robots directives, redirects, and caching controls? It would also be helpful to understand whether there are any existing indexing concerns or if we are working from a technically clean baseline. Access to log files for crawl analysis would significantly strengthen the audit phase. Additionally, are there any legacy URL structures that must remain in place?
Regarding the geo-intent expansion, will the 25–50 landing pages follow a single scalable template, or are there structural variations depending on region or service type? Will each page contain unique data elements specific to its location, and is there a longer-term plan to expand beyond the initial 50 pages? If operating within a regulated framework, are there compliance constraints that influence content layout or messaging?
From an architectural standpoint, are there currently pages targeting similar commercial keywords that could create cannibalisation risks? How is internal linking presently managed — manually or via rule-based logic? Understanding this will inform the refinement strategy.
In terms of performance, have Core Web Vitals been formally audited recently, and are there known technical limitations such as hosting constraints or heavy third-party scripts? Is mobile traffic the primary acquisition channel?
Commercially, are paid search campaigns running in parallel for the same geo clusters? Do you have historical conversion or lead-quality data by region to inform prioritisation? Clarifying the primary KPIs for this engagement — whether ranking visibility, qualified lead growth, or market share expansion — will ensure alignment.
Finally, from a collaboration standpoint, is there a dedicated developer available for implementation, and what is the expected turnaround time for technical updates? How frequently would you prefer strategic reporting and review sessions?
These insights will allow me to structure a precise and commercially aligned technical roadmap rather than making assumptions at the outset.
