SEO for a new site targeting USA and Canada

I have just completed a website to sell a specific product line across the USA and Canada which will target users of 3M Peltor two way radios (walkie talkies) where we offer a battery charger which is unique and the only one of its kind so the site is very focussed.
I am looking for someone to optimise our searches get us high up in google rankings, any adjustments to the website which has been developed in the shopify platform etc will need to be handled by the supplier.

Because I have limited experience in this area rather than write a detailed brief it will be better to answer specific questions lead by the supplier
