Description
I am looking for an experienced UK SEO freelancer to help improve the organic visibility of my new consultancy business, CraftPoint Advisory. https://craftpointadvisory.com/
About the business
CraftPoint Advisory is a premium boutique consultancy specialising in retail transformation, business transformation, leadership, executive coaching and advisory services. The target audience is primarily UK-based senior executives, retailers, suppliers and technology businesses.
What I need
I am looking for someone to undertake an initial SEO project covering:
Full SEO/technical audit of the existing website
Keyword research focused specifically on commercially valuable UK search terms for CraftPoint Advisory
Identification of approximately 10–15 priority keywords/search phrases
Competitor keyword and SEO analysis
Review and optimisation recommendations for page titles, meta descriptions, headings and on-page content
Internal linking recommendations
Technical SEO checks, including indexing, sitemap, URLs and Google Search Console
Identification of content gaps and recommendations for future pages/blog content
Clear baseline report showing current rankings/visibility so future progress can be measured
Potential ongoing work
I am open to ongoing monthly SEO support if there is a clear business case. This could include:
On-page optimisation
Content strategy and optimisation
Technical SEO
Ethical, relevant link/authority building
Keyword/ranking monitoring
Competitor monitoring
Monthly reporting
Important
I am not looking for generic or automated SEO, bulk backlinks, low-quality directory links or questionable link-building practices.
Any link-building activity must be relevant, legitimate and appropriate for a premium professional services business.
Please do not assume I want 20+ keywords simply to increase the scope. I want to focus on the search terms most likely to generate relevant business enquiries.
Please include in your proposal:
Your price for the initial SEO audit/research/optimisation work
Your monthly price for ongoing SEO support, if offered
Exactly what is included in each price
Estimated hours/work involved each month
Examples of relevant UK professional services/consultancy clients you have worked with
Examples of measurable SEO results achieved
Your approach to link building
Expected timescales for seeing meaningful improvement
I am looking for a long-term relationship if the initial work demonstrates genuine value, but I am not looking to commit to a long-term contract initially.
Please base your quotation on the scope above rather than simply recommending a standard SEO package.

Hi Eddie, are you open to hiring someone outside the UK?
-

Here are few queries:
A. Which would be more valuable to CraftPoint right now: inquiries from retail leadership teams or from suppliers and technology businesses looking for commercial advice?
B. When a senior executive searches for help today, do you want them to find the business as a transformation specialist or as a retail expert?
C. How are your current enquiries arriving, through referrals, LinkedIn, or the website?
D. If the first audit shows two or three quick fixes and a clear plan, would you prefer to review it on a short call or in writing before deciding on ongoing support?
E. Do you have a target for how many qualified enquiries a month would make the investment worthwhile? -

You mentioned UK-based senior executives, retailers, suppliers and technology businesses as the target audience. Are there particular industries, company sizes, decision-maker roles, or UK regions you especially want to attract, and are you targeting the UK nationally or specific cities/regions as well?
How frequently are you currently able to publish or update website content, and are you open to creating new service pages, case studies, articles, insights or thought-leadership content based on the keyword/content-gap research?
Are there specific UK consultancy firms, advisory businesses or competitors that you consider your main SEO/business competitors?
