What we need:
Comprehensive website SEO audit and implementation: technical SEO (site speed, mobile responsiveness, schema markup), on‑page optimisation (keywords, meta tags, content enhancement), and off‑page strategy (authoritative links, PR)
Optimisation and ongoing management of our Google My Business (GMB) / Google Business Profile: accurate listing, category/citation clean‑up, review generation strategy, local‑pack visibility
Strong local SEO focus: citations/mentions in relevant UK directories, geo‑targeted content, map pack ranking, local competitor analysis
Social Media Optimisation (SMO): align our social accounts (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) with SEO strategy, create or refine posting plan, engagement strategy, integrate content sharing for SEO benefit
Monthly reporting of KPIs: organic traffic growth, keyword ranking improvements, local pack visibility, GMB insights, social engagement metrics
Clear communication, timeline, and measurable milestones (e.g., launch audit by Week 2, initial optimisations by Week 4, monthly progress reviews)
Ideal Candidate / Agency Will Have:
Proven track record of SEO work for UK businesses, especially local‑business or service‑oriented websites
Familiarity with GMB/GBP optimisation and local SEO citation networks in the UK
Strong understanding of how social media and SEO intersect (SMO + SEO synergy)
Transparent reporting, use of tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, etc.), and ability to explain results clearly
Ability to work independently, propose strategy, execute and iterate
Scope & Budget:
We are open to negotiation based on experience, but please include your proposed monthly retainer or project fee, expected time commitment, and deliverables you will supply each month.
