Google Adwords person

I run a small, sole trader type company producing plans and drawings for home owners needing plans drawings for extensions etc.

I am actually a freelancer on here too!

Earlier in the year i had my website redesigned using wordpress. This was done at the same time as i started a google adwords campaign.

The SEO side of my website is very poor and even doing a direct search for my company, i find my old vistaprint site (that i still have running) ahead of my better designed (and optimised) site.

Hence the reason i have become relient on google adwords, that attract approx 75% of my business.

I have a very very low daily budget set at £6.00 a day. Aside from some trimmed own keywords, my account is run on all the default settings. I average 24 clicks a day, and my CTR is no better than 2.5% on my most popular keywords.

I do get infrequent contact from companies offering to take hold of adwords but they wont work within my budget and look for me to double it.

I appreciate that doubling it to £300 a month would make things easier to manage, but being a sole trader and always worried about the next months bills ima little nervous to commit to lengthy 6 month agreements etc.

I need someone to take hold of my account, adjust all the settings and create different adgroups like i keep getting told to do. Im told a more efficent system will place me higher in googles 'relevence' ranking and actualy be cheaper per click. At this point i get lost.
