Marketing my book task for Dervish Dervish (business mentor)
Thank you for taking the time to read this project. I hope the following information makes it clear what we are looking for.
Project AIMS
* I have just released a book and I want it to be promoted with the number 1 aim of attracting new business to my mentoring programme.
* the book is called ‘How To Build A Highly Profitable Martial Arts School’ and is available on amazon here;

* I am NOT after sales of the book per se – the book was born to establish me as an authority in the field hence I want to market to ‘Martial Arts School owners’.
* I do not want to market to anybody that studies martial arts because 95% will be students and only 5% will be instructors/school owners
What I want;
• To market the book to Martial Arts School owners (then they hopefully invest in the book and decide to work with me)
• I don’t want a ‘spray and prey’ type of approach, I’m after quite niche targeting
• Budget dependant I was thinking approx. 3 months marketing push
Me, basic background
My name is Dervish Dervish, I am a business mentor and an active property investor. I have a (small) YouTube channel, Facebook page, LinkedIn page and Instagram. Im a 6th degree Black Belt and built up a very profitable Karate school.
I help/mentor 2 types of people;
1. Property Investors – educating them on strategy and how to build their portfolios
(currently 80% of my mentees)
2. THIS IS WHO THE BOOK NEEDS TO BE MARKETED TO; Martial Arts School Owners – educating them on building highly profitable martial arts schools (20% of my mentees)
I educate my mentees to help them make more informed decisions which increase their cash flow, profits and wealth.
