I then need 2 version of the e mail, only very slight variations in the content
I want it designed so that it can be edited for future emails, ie header and footer remains the same etc
I need it uploaded to my e mail account.

the email has to be responsive and readable on desktop, mobile, dark mode enabled apps or email clients.

Is it HTML format?

Building the template around a fixed header and footer will make future editions straightforward. Will you supply the final copy and imagery for both versions, or should that be created as part of the design?
