Description
We’re Gunpowder Studios, an indie UK board game publisher with two brands – Gunpowder Studios and Bag of Dungeon. We design and sell our own tabletop games, from light family titles to big fantasy adventures, and have solid listings and sales in the UK and US Amazon platforms.
Search 'Gunpowder Studios' or 'Bag of Dungeon' to check us out online.
We’re technically competent in Amazon Seller Central (we manage our own UK/US stores, handle FBA, GTINs, A+ Content, etc.), but we’ve hit a wall with a visibility issue in Europe and want a specialist to help us move things forward. We'd also be interested in a more regular freelance arrangement to keep our Amazon listings sweet, as we'd rather be spending our time designing lovely board games.
The issue:
Our reprint of our main seller, Bag of Dungeon, (new GS1 GTIN, ASIN ending 8M8), is live and selling well in the UK, but it’s not appearing in some EU marketplaces, even though stock is ready to ship. We need to understand why and fix it so the listing is visible and purchasable.
This project:
We’d like to treat this as a paid test:
Scope: We want to begin with one title (Bag of Dungeon) in Germany, and if that goes well, we'll move onto the other territories. The brief for this project, then, is to get Bag of Dungeon (ASIN ending 8M8) correctly listed and purchasable on Amazon.de.
If successful, we’ll roll out Bag of Dungeon to other territories and then repeat the same with our seven other titles. Our initial targets are Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Canada.
What we need in a proven partner:
• Demonstrable track record fixing suppressed or missing Amazon listings across multiple marketplaces.
• Solid understanding of GS1 GTINs, Brand Registry, and cross-border fulfilment.
• A proactive, reliable partner for a long-term working relationship, maintaining and growing our Amazon presence in multiple territories.
If you can get under the hood of Seller Central and solve the BoD1 Germany issue, we’d love to talk.

Hi Paul,
I really enjoyed reading your post. I actually took a moment to look up Bag of Dungeon and your other titles very cool to see an indie publisher carving out its own space with both family and fantasy games. I can see why you’d prefer to focus on designing new games rather than wrestling with Seller Central quirks.
From what you’ve described, the main issue is that your reprint with the new GS1 GTIN isn’t surfacing in Germany despite being live in the UK. I’ve worked across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and Shopify with product listings, variation setups, and compliance details like GTINs and Brand Registry. I know how frustrating suppressed or “invisible” listings can be, especially when everything looks correct on the backend but stock isn’t showing up for customers.
Here’s how I’d approach it:
Dig into the Germany listing for your ASIN ending 8M8 to identify whether it’s a GTIN conflict, catalog mismatch, or marketplace-specific suppression.
Resolve the issue so the game becomes visible and purchasable on Amazon.de.
Document the steps clearly so you can use the same approach when expanding to France, Italy, Spain, and Canada.
I keep communication simple — clear updates, no jargon, and quick responses during the project. I adjust my schedule to overlap with UK working hours, so it’s easy to stay aligned.
Would you like to start with a quick call to review the Germany case and confirm your timeline for rollout? That way, I can also give you a sense of cost for both the test project and ongoing support if you decide you’d like a longer-term partnership.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
