We’re looking for an expert digital marketing freelancer to audit our website and make up current marketing plans across Google, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms—with a strong focus on retargeting strategies and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) with customer journey enhancement.
Scope of Work:
- Conduct a full audit of our website and existing marketing campaigns.
- Analyse performance across Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, and organic social.
Review and optimise the customer journey, as we currently have high traffic (40K–60K visitors/month) but a very low conversion rate (below 1%).
- Evaluate and improve retargeting strategies (attached images for reference) to re-engage warm audiences.
- Redesign or refine a marketing programme to reach and sustain 50,000+ UK-based monthly visitors.
- Propose CRO improvements (on-site messaging, funnels, CTA optimisation, etc.)
- Advise on budget allocation, creatives, audience targeting, and campaign timing.
- Establish clear KPIs and performance tracking frameworks.
Current Setup & Additional Focus Areas:
- The website is built on Shopify.
- We are exploring AI-powered Shopify apps for personalisation, recommendations, automation, and marketing analytics.
- We want to leverage AI tools to improve user experience and boost conversion rates.
Advertising Budget:
- We are currently spending around £1,500/month on advertising, particularly focused on DIY products along with general stone materials.
- We are open to optimising this spend for better performance and are happy to continue this budget level if aligned with clear results.
Timeline & Commitment:
- The candidate should be responsible and committed to achieving the outlined traffic and conversion goals.
- Must be confident in delivering results within 90 to 180 days, with progress reviews every 30 days.
- Clear milestones and check-ins will be established to monitor and adjust strategy as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience with retargeting, CRO, and customer journey mapping.
- Expertise in paid ads (Google, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok) and funnel strategy.
- Familiarity with Shopify marketing tools and AI Easy Ads integrations.
Ability to deliver measurable results with a performance-driven mindset.
