Description
Experience Level: Expert
Experienced web designer required for designing a small website (around 10 pages) and installing it to web hosting. High-quality graphic design for this website is crucial so as to give it a professional and polished appearance.
When bidding please provide examples and links to your previous work on websites.
The website requires the following pages:
Front page, which will include the links to the following pages: ‘home’, ‘mission’, ‘Back ground on genetics and society’ ‘research’, ‘archive’, ‘newsletter’, ‘links’, ‘donate’, ‘contact’.
Home (This will include links to all of the following categories as well as the main feature of the website which is a blog.)
About Us (mission statement and values)
Research (The various research pieces that will be published)
Archives (blog, need tag, searchable, social media buttons) People should be able to search according to key words which are either titles of different posts and articles, or they are referenced in the articles themselves.
Newsletter page (this merely outlines what the newsletter and when it will come out and how to register)
Links (Which will just be relevant links to other websites and relevant material)
The website needs to be able to generate reader logs to track who read what and when
Apart from Website Admin, there will only be 1 type of user: Reader;
Blog can only be posted by website admin; there needs to be a section where people can comment on the blogs but this will be moderated by myself.
In terms of the general appearance and operability of the website it would need to look something like the BigBrotherWatch Website: http://www.bigbrotherwatch.org.uk/ I have also have examples on PDF of what I would like. The contact is slightly different and will be changed in the next few days.
