Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are looking for a trustworthy web designer/agency to help us with a large project to completely revamp our website (kwintessential.co.uk).
Earlier this year we commissioned a company to come up with a new design template for our website. Attached is an example of what the new internal pages would look like.
The template therefore has been created. This would be supplied to you by the original design company. What we now need is for someone to take that template and apply it to each and every page of our website that is currently a static HTML page (approx. 2,000 pages). Unfortunately we had never been advised to use a CMS so this makes the whole transfer process challenging.
Essentially what we want is for the metatags and body of the pages to remain as they are and only the look of the page to be changed. We can not have any impact on how Google reads the pages.
It is critical that this also, at the same time, be transfered into a CMS to allow for easy updates and general use moving forward. Word Press would be ideal or Joomla has also been cited as an option.
On top of this we have numerous "tools" or "gadgets" on our website (for ex. http://www.kwintessential.co.uk/resources/quiz/map/Africa-Capitals/) that would need to be worked into the new page layout/design.
Our deadline for this is mid-September and it is business critical we do not fail this.
I am looking for someone who can commit to this full-time, offer me a project timeline, communicate regulary and manage the whole process seamlessly. Initially the site would need to be built on your own servers unitil we carried out tests on it to ensure everything is operational. We would nee full support to iron out any glitches with tools, pages, links, etc.
The original company that designed these pages would initially be on hand to offer advice and they would also need to pass some test pages to ensure they are SEO friendly and that no negative impact would be caused on our rankings.
I have an overview of all the pages that would need doing but am only going to send this to people who I feel would be able to carry out the project.
Please take time and consideration to reply and do not send me a template response that you always use on Freelancer - I will not consider any such replies.
Feel free to ask as many questions as needed in order to assess this project.
