Description
Experience Level: Expert
We develop asp.net c# web pages and are working on a large project for large corporates. The current product we are working on has roughly 50+ web pages. The design process starts with a set of storyboards (graphically complete documents showing required web page layout, look and feel) which are designed in Adobe InDesign. Functionality does not matter at this stage.
The next stage (this is where you come in) is that these storyboards are passed onto designers (as Adobe In Design files), who create a set of HTML pages with CSS to match the storyboard page. Most of the graphics and artwork have already been designed; however you may be needed to create artwork as required (as sprites and sliding door images).
These need to fit into the existing structure (included CSS files, sprite images, etc.) agreeing on naming conventions for style sheets and html elements which will be provided. Pages will need to be designed to fit a base resolution (without scrolling as on the storyboard) and support safari, internet explorer, chrome, firefox and opera browsers
.
Once this is done, these html pages will get passed onto the developers who will then ‘transform’ these into working asp.net pages, changing the html elements to server side controls where applicable and adding in Jquery and Javascript.
You can mainly work from home, however you it will be necessary to come into the office (we are based in Dartford) for a few hours as required to work with the developers before and after the html pages are designed.
Initially you will be given 5 days work for a set of storyboard pages, and if these are acceptable more work will be made available. We would prefer people who are located locally (London area).
