Description
Experience Level: Expert
Hello,
I'm hoping to initially build a simple website in Wix. I'm quite familiar with Wix and would like to have the ability to update copy without having to contact my designer each time.
The website will start small (so we can launch quickly) and then develop. I will need the chosen designer's help for all brand-related matters. This job is not a one-hit wonder.
At this stage we do not have a name (this is currently a competition on Squadhelp.) We are a start up tech company helping companies to intelligently automate their key processes. The plan is to try and develop a brand around the name of Bot (the automation tool itself.) So something like, Alexa, Siri or Watson.
A recent example of our work was helping a major port authority to automate their scheduling of sea pilots. In practice this meant:
1) sitting with coordinators to understand how work was scheduled
2) codifying the rules, constraints and requirements for the work
3) smart algorithms are then applied to the codified rules
4) the system is then integrated with all other customer systems (HR, etc)
5) new schedules are sent to an elegant UI for coordinator approval
Our automation tool helped reduce delays by 60% for this customer!
We've also worked with companies to help them automate scheduling, pricing and HR and compliance.
One idea which I have been playing with is the idea of falling Tetris shapes. Each shape represents a job or task with employees trying to place the shapes in a neat 'stack' or pile (and often failing.) Our Bot could be at the bottom seamlessly guiding each block into place.
The point of this is not to make the employees look stupid, but to point out that they should be spending more time on creativity and developing new insights - not struggling with endless jobs/tasks which could be intelligently automated.
Executing this idea might be too complicated for a first draft and may be a Phase2 project, delivered via a video/ animation.
I really like different shades of dark blue with white copy, but I'm open to all sorts of ideas. Simple and elegant is the brief for Phase1. Our customer will be financial directors and operations directors of mid- large companies, so the site will need to look professional and not too playful.
Ask me plenty of questions!
Rob
P.S - Feel free to suggest names!

Hi there Rob,
I would like to know how many pages are there and will there be an e-commerce intergrated plugin to be added, understanding that you are very good in wix?
Thanks,
Gilberts
