Description
Experience Level: Expert
Kind of design: Custom website
Num. of web pages: 8
Description of every page: We are pushing hard for an early summer code complete date but our site still looks really rough. We are looking for someone to review our spec, rough mockups and to design a theme and style for the site. If you are reviewing screenshots, keep an open mind and feel free to move the placement of links/tiles etc. This is strictly a design exercise, not a coding exercise.
The initial contract will be to design a single page and if we are pleased with the design AND the individual, we will extend the contract to other screens.
The candidate will largely be working with the CMO for screen layouts, branding and styling. Both the CTO and CMO have years of experience working in the tech sector.
We are looking for someone that is available to start within a day or 2 of accepting the proposal.
We have attached an example of a mockup, please provide estimates optionally along with suggestions in order to style this page. Assume that all data is already available and the react tiles are already created and available to be responsive for mobile.
**NOTE** The attached mockup is very rough and should be used only for a reference of the tiles
Thanks,
Ideas for the visual style: Please see the brand information in extra
Website url: www.SpottingQuotes.ca (currently locked to whitelisted IP addresses)
Website information: We have built a platform that matches local contractors and service providers (such as cleaners) to jobs in their area.
Urls to draw inspiration from: http://danielrothier.com/web-applications - all of his portfolio has consistent layout and styling, we are looking for the same thing
Extra notes: Our corporate style guide is crisp, clean and simple – just like the experience users receive on our platform. We use gold tones in certain elements to represent the high quality services available on our platform, as well as our platform as a whole. There’s no fluff or distracting elements. Our corporate style guide remains black and white with accents of gold to ensure an easy-to-use platform, while still having an option to make certain elements pop within our platform. This also ensures that our corporate style and brand remains timeless and appeals to all demographics.
The contractor’s dashboard is a quick snapshot of the current state of affairs and latest information pertaining to the business and relevant to their industries they are registered for.
The top left currently would have business ratings, the “latest projects” contains the latest projects relevant to the businesses industry (such as other in this case). Latest quotes would display latest quote information had the business had any and Your Projects would display their projects if they had any.
The front-end tech stack is a mix of HAML and ReactJs where HAML is used for the general layout and react is used for the content components.
