Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hi Guys
Myself and my partner work freelance, i am the web designer and my partner is the Programmer/ developer, Which works out really well.
For the past couple of months business has taken off massively, which i'm sure everyone out there is experiencing the same.
We are looking for a very good HTML and CSS developer to work with long term, Bonus if you know php or further skills in development but not essential but prominent work would be the HTML and CSS of my designs, we put most of our work in to wordpress, so my partner Joe would quality check the work and use the templates to finish off the jobs..
code must be easy to read and preferably hand coded, to render in IE7 (no need for ie 6)
from the UK, as this may be good to meet up with in the near future if things go well.
:
I would normally design the work and pass over to joe, but he is currently really busy and we are concerned the work may start piling up
communication is a must! i always keep a daily dialogue with clients and we have kept our client base due to our willingness and communication response time.. i aim to design within 5-7 working days and on approval develop the site within the same timescale. ( depending on size, but this is based on a general 5-10 page site in wordpress )
open to offers, not necessary looking for the cheapest per hour as we are honest and feel you should be charging a fair price for the work and a good job.
we charge £25 an hour so ideally happy to pay around £15-£20 per hour for html and css - if any development work was needed obviously we would pay the going rate for the skill.
I would like to be able to say for example - if i had a template joe can guestimate how long it would take him to code, so we can afford £100 and then see if you can do this.. or do as much as you can for this if that makes sense,
we will always be open to negotiation and want to develop a good working relationship.
If you can provide us with some well coded sites and we shall
Look forward to hearing from you.
Kind Regards
Becki
