I need a design document for a website.
The website will process dutch auctions for products that are submitted by registered sellers and are bid on by registered buyers. The site needs to look modern and stylish. One of the key elements needed in the design is an auction "clock" showing the time and price changing and instantly updating as bids are received. Products will be a bulk lot (eg 10 tonnes of fish). Initially the quantity will be a guess (eg before fishing starts) but will firm up to a precise amount. A bidder will usually bid on part of the lot (eg 1 tonne). When the lot is fully bid on, the price at that time will be used as the price for all buyers. Once sold, invoices and confirmations will need to be sent to all and, once payments have been confirmed (online or offline), dispatch documents and air waybills must be generated.
The design document needs to firm up the key screens, documents and system processes (server, client and external apis etc).
In order to undertake this project you will need to attend at least one face-to-face meeting in or near London.
If you are interested in this project please send me a sample of part of a document that you have produced that is similar to this. Also, please tell me how long you expect the project will take you. Proposals that do not include a sample and have no estimated timeframe will be ignored.
Let me know if you have questions
Thanks
Ian
