Company Background
Install Solar Limited "the company" is a renewable energy company focusing on the installation of Solar Power within the United Kingdom.
Project Description
The project entails the conversion of the company website (http://www.installsolaruk.com) into wordpress or joomla format. The project further entails the setup of the converted website onto the company’s chosen internet service provider and the testing of the website to ensure the site is working. The developer will be required to provide instruction on how to update the website, using the tools provided by Wordpress or Joomla.
The purpose for converting the site into either Joomla or Wordpress is to allow the company to update the site on an adhoc basis - using the tools provided within wordpress or joomla. Areas to be updated would include - page content, website design, blog updates.
The project will be deemed to be completed – once the company has checked the design and functionality of the live converted website.
The design of the converted site should be a mirror image of the current site.
The estimated project duration is one day for development work – including the setup of the site onto an ISP (selected by the company) and testing of the website functionality once loaded onto the ISP.
In the absence of a contract of services to be provided by the winning bidder - the deemed service agreement provided by peopleperhour.com will be applicable.
The project will consist of two milestones:
1. Converting the site into Joomla or Wordpress. Once the company is satisfied with the appearance of the converted site and the files are received from the developer, 50% of the fee will be invoiced and paid for the completion of this milestone.
2. Loading the site onto an ISP, assisting in the transfer of the companys domain name to the new site, the testing of the functionality of the site by both the developer and the company. On completion of this milestone, the remaining balance of the bid amount (50%) will be invoiced and paid.
It is expected the bid will not be more than £300.
The bid should be a fixed price for the completion of the project NOT an hourly rate.
