Hi there
I\'d like help creating a prototype website for an experimental business idea which provides industry sector information to paying subscribers.
The prototype needs to be built (at least initially) in Joomla mainly because I already have an available Joomla CMS, and vaguely know how to use Joomla to update content.
While I\'m not sure what the prototype will eventually look like, I do know that it will probably support the following features:
- A passworded login facility for each user. I\'ll hand these out free initially during the prototype trial. But eventually - if the site looks like it might work - you would need to develop a facility for signing up subscribers (plus noting which features they have paid for). You will need to show me experience of having done this before please.
- Each industry sector will probably have its own set of pages. Hopefully, each sector will follow the same format.
- Users can only access the sector pages for which they\'ve paid
- The site needs to include a blog. As I recall, Joomla integrated well with Wordpress, though I personally prefer Blogger - provided Blogger can offer the same look and feel as the rest of the site.
- We need a user discussion forum with moderated and unmoderated options.
If you\'d like to help, you\'ll need the following:
1. Experience: I\'d like to see your portfolio of websites which include the above features (they don\'t all need to be in the same website obviously). I\'d also like to speak to one or two of the people for whom you built them.
2. B2b: If you have b2b site building experience, so much the better
3. Copywriting and research skills: if you have the skills to help me copywrite and research the business as well as building the site, that would obviously be an advantage - however, I am not sure how many designers would realistically offer this. Still, no harm in asking.
4. Accurate: You need to have an eye for detail so that the site looks stunning with no silly errors (navigation or typos)
5. Reliable: You need to be reliable and deliver when you say you will. And if for any reason you can\'t, you need to be the kind of person who lets me know well in time so I can redo our plans.
If this sounds like you, please drop me a note describing how you would meet each of the above website and personal requirements.
Thanks and best wishes
Max
