Description

Experience Level: Expert
I have made a basic website for a catering business (mainly wedding catering) in the UK.
I have asked chatGPT to look at it and tell me what is wrong with the SEO and it gave me a long list of things that need changing to optimize the site for web searches (as I want to increase the visibility within organic searches for specific search phrases).
I am looking for someone who can do all these things (ie make new pages for search phrases / create links between pages / add titles to all the photos / make sure the headings are in the correct style etc etc).
Please feel free to suggest a budget for this work. The goal is to have a website that appears on the search listings in google for specific search terms.

Please share your website URL so I can do a quick SEO review and share my action plan right inside the proposal.

Hi Gideon, one thing I’d like to understand is whether you’re mainly looking to rank within one local area or across several UK counties/cities for wedding catering. And aside from improving rankings, I assume the real goal is to generate more relevant wedding catering enquiries/quote requests?

If you're happy to share the website, I’d be keen to do a quick initial audit before giving you a final estimate. I can then look at the existing SEO structure alongside the actual customer journey — Google search → relevant service/location page → trust → enquiry — and come back with what I think genuinely needs changing, rather than simply pricing everything on the ChatGPT list.

Happy to have a chat and take it from there.

Hi Gideon, would you prefer the target search phrases mapped to separate dedicated landing pages, or consolidated into broader topic clusters to avoid keyword cannibalisation and thin-page SEO issues?
To start immediately, we’d need the website URL, CMS/platform access, target search terms, the existing SEO issue list, and any Search Console/GA4 data available.

Hello! I can definitely fix all these SEO issues (headings, image titles, internal links, and new pages) to help your catering site rank on Google. Could you please share your website link? This will help me check the site and suggest an accurate budget for you.

    Hi,

Please could you confirm what platform this is built on?

    Thanks

    Hello Gideon,

May I have the domain name and if okay with, the list of suggestions Chatgpt has made?

It would help me analyze and gauge the work and time needed.

    Regards,
    Anay
